EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Public Libraries, El Paso County’s Community Services Department and Border Network for Human Rights have released their pop-up locations for residents to receive their Enhanced Library Cards (ELC).
The pop-up locations will be set up in areas for residents that live outside of the El Paso city limits, according to El Paso County in its news release.
The following are the pop-up locations with their respective times:
Ilumina Library, 15371 Kentwood Ave., Horizon City
Open from 12 to 4 p.m. on Fridays
Fabens Community Center, 201 NW Camp St.
Open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays
Canutillo Community Center, 7351 Bosque Rd.
Open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays
ELCs are a free full-service library card that can also be used as a supplemental form of identification and can be used as ID cards at all El Paso County and City of El Paso offices, the County said.
Residents that want to receive a ELC must have a proof of identification and proof of residence within El Paso County, the County said. The card will also have added security features and are non-transferable.
ELCs will have personally identifiable information such as a photo, name, address, height, weight, age and gender.
