KTSM News – Portion of Loop 375 to close overnight in far east El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) –  El Paso Electric announced the closure of a portion of Loop 375 to allow their crews to extend distribution lines that will provide interconnection of two substations.

The closure will be from 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, and will include north- and southbound lanes of Loop 375 between Montana Ave. to Spur 601.

EPE is asking commuters to follow detour signage for their safety and respect construction barricades. Losure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache barricade.

Overnight closure details:

When: From 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024.

Where: Loop 375 north- and southbound lanes will be closed between Montana Ave. and Spur 601.
