My friends, we added to the “Misery Meter” today with an official high of 100. That makes the 31st day so far this year at 100 or hotter. We will be adding quite a few days to the Misery Meter next week as we enter a stretch of Extreme Heat Days.
TONIGHT: The skies will be partly cloudy early in the evening and turn clear overnight. We may see some distant lightning from storms to the west. The south winds will range from 5-10 mph, and the low will drop to 76.

Extreme heat hits the Borderland starting Tuesday as a giant dome of high-pressure forms over the Rockies. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a high of 106. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 107. Thursday will be partly cloudy and 106 with a chance of late day t-storms. Friday will be sunny and 102.
