EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, El Paso. After a day of here-and-there overcast skies, Saturday night will close out with the chance of thunderstorms and showers.
For Saturday night, we will see a low around 66 with mostly cloudy skies. Winds will blow pretty calmly around 5-10 mph before storms hit where gusts can pick up speed. These stronger storms are likely after midnight going into early Sunday morning. Flooding is possible in areas that are prone to it.
Sunday will be partly cloudy with a high in the low 80s, potentially even upper 70s. Showers and storms are expected in the afternoon, with another round overnight going into Monday. The low for Sunday night will be in the low 60s.
Chances of showers remain for Monday, with the possibility stronger after 3 p.m. Conditions begin to clear out going into the overnight hours when winds will also become calm.
Tuesday forward, the forecast is very similar, except for a gradual increase in temperatures where El Paso will eventually inch closer to the 90s as the week goes on. The sun will be shining throughout the days, with evenings mostly clear. Lows will be in the low 60s, upper 50s. Winds will mostly be light and variable.
