Slight chances for scattered showers persist until noon, after which the storm system that brought the area heavy rain and isolated flooding will begin making its way out of the region. We’ll continue to see some cloud coverage leading into the evening, where more moisture will bring the chance for rain again starting around 6 p.m. going into Tuesday morning.

Overnight, thunderstorms are likely where rainfall can register between a tenth and quarter of an inch – potentially even more where thunderstorms appear. The low will be near 73 with winds around 10 mph.

For Tuesday, storm chances remain. We’ll see mostly sunny skies with a high of around 92. Winds will blow around 5-10 mph from the southwest with rainfall amounts expected to be less than a tenth of an inch. Shower and thunderstorm chances are present just before midnight with the low around 71.

Moving forward, Wednesday appears to be warmer and drier. A high around 95 is expected with light winds.

Thursday through Sunday, very similar conditions. Mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 90s and low 100s. Winds will be calm, and lows overnight will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
