We are 8 days away from Halloween, and we just blew the record high away. Today’s high is 91, and that wipes out the old record of 89 set in 1889. We are likely to break tomorrow’s record as well. FORECAST: Thursday will be sunny and moderately windy with a high of 93. The SW-west winds will pick up in the afternoon and gust to near 30 mph, stronger on the east slopes. Friday will be mostly sunny with a few clouds and a high of 90. Most of the day Friday, the winds will be light and variable. Late Friday evening, the winds will begin to pick up on the west slopes with an advancing “cool front.” The east winds will gust to near 25 mph at the airport.
