KTSM News – Renowned pianist Piers Lane returning to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — World-renowned pianist Piers Lane is coming back to El Paso for an exciting performance of Chopin and Schubert. 

Lane is spending the week in the region, engaging with students at UTEP, and will hosting master classes at the university.

Lane’s wide-ranging concerto repertoire exceeds 100 works and has led to engagements with many of the world’s great orchestras. He’s worked with conductors like Sir Andrew Davis, Vassily Sinaisky, Gerard Schwartz and Brett Dean. Lane’s performed in over 40 countries and played in venues as prestigious as Carnegie Hall.

Lane is coming to the UTEP Fox Fine Arts on Friday, Oct. 24. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets start at $25 and are available at elpasopromusica.org.
