EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A Family Assistance and Resource Center will continue on Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25 for anyone impacted by the shooting at Young Park in Las Cruces.
The resource event was held Sunday and will be held again from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Las Cruces Convention Center, 680 E. Univesity Ave.
All services are free and open to anyone who resides in Las Cruces and Dona Ana County.
Anyone who needs transportation to and from the Convention Center can dial the Essential Services line at 211. Roadrunner Transit also provides zero-fare transportation throughout Las Cruces.
Participating organizations include: the Las Cruces Police and Fire departments; the Office of Emergency Management; New Mexico State University Police Department; Families and Youth Inc.; the Southern New Mexico Community Foundation; the Salvation Army; New Mexico Crisis Triage Center; La Piñon SAR; Catholic Charities; Heart for the World; Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church; the NMSU Extension Family; victims’ assistance programs from LCPD and the FBI-Las Cruces office; and others.
