EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Friday!
We return to above-seasonal temperatures this weekend, reaching a high of 79 degrees on Saturday and a low near 54.
Come Sunday, precipitation returns to the region bringing chances for afternoon and evening showers. A high of 72 degrees is expected with a low of 49.
Don’t forget, daylight savings time ends at 2 a.m. on Nov. 3, where we will gain an extra hour of sleep as our clocks “fall back.”
Those shower chances carry into Monday, along with a high of 62 degrees and a low near 41.
By Tuesday, Election Day, conditions stabilize, and sunny skies return. We remain in the mid-60s during the day before dropping to 43 overnight. Wednesday and Thursday will also be calm with highs in the upper 60s, and lower 70s for the highs.
Friday morning will have a chilly start with a low near 39 degrees before warming up to 61 degrees. We see another gradual warm-up on Saturday and Sunday featuring mostly sunny skies.
