EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — As part of the Gila National Forest’s ongoing Black Fire recovery efforts, a contractor will begin road repair work on a 1-mile segment of Forest Road 150 (North Star Road) beginning Monday, Aug. 11.
A road crew will complete minor resurfacing, replace culverts, and make other improvements between Beaverhead Work Center and Wall Lake.
The project is scheduled to last from Aug. 11 through Sept. 5. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Travel delays should be minimal, except during culvert replacement in the vicinity of Wall Lake, when delays of 30 minutes can be expected, officials said.
