Ruidoso News said the incident happened on Highway 70 at Cliff Drive in Ruidoso.

The woman was safely rescued and was reunited with her family, Ruidoso News said.

In a video posted by Ruidoso News, at least three vehicles are seen being swept away due to flooding in the area.

Ruidoso News said the flooding was caused by the first round of the monsoon season.

In addition, the Village of Ruidoso said that due to the burn scar flooding, Highway 70 West is closed from the Y to Mescalero Trail until water levels subside.

This is a developing story, and we will update once we learn more.
