EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The man who was recently arrested for allegedly posing as a cosmetic surgeon was arrested for a second time after another victim came forward and is accusing him of sexual assault, according to El Paso Police.
Police say on Monday, Feb. 5, Tito Villareal, 43, was arrested for sexual assault when a second victim came forward after seeing the scheme he was arrested for in January.
Villareal was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility and charged with sexual assault with a $250,000 bond.
As we have previoulsy reported, Villareal was allegedly posing as a cosemtic surgeon and was telling women that they had won a raffle for free surgery, communicating with them through a Facebook page.
Police say the Facebook page used the name “Tito Villareal” and he used spoofing technology to convince the victims that he was calling from a legitimate medical facility.
Villarreal was previously arrested on Monday, Jan. 22 for outstanding traffic warrants and was rebooked on Tuesday, Jan. 23 with a charge of sexual assault with a $150,000 bond.
