EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 50-year-old sex offender has been arrested after failing to register his new address, according to El Paso Police on Friday, March 14.
According to police, Jorge Higareda, 50, failed to register his new address in December last year.
On Wednesday, Feb. 26, officers from the Sex Offender Registration Unit learned that Higareda was no longer staying at his registered address, according to police.
On March 13, through an investigation, Higareda was located and taken into custody.
Higareda was charged with failing to register his new address and has a $15,000 bond.
