KTSM News – Sheriff: Car runs red light, crashes into school bus in far East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A school bus from the Clint Independent School District was involved in a crash Monday morning, Feb. 26, in far East El Paso, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office says units were dispatched just after 7 a.m. to the intersection of Montana Avenue and Krag Street regarding the crash.

The Sheriff’s Office says a driver traveling in a Honda Civic disregarded a red light at the intersection and caused the crash with the school bus.

The bus did have children on board. However, no injuries were reported regarding the children or the bus driver.

The driver of the Honda Civic was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
