EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 47-year-old man has been arrested after stealing a can of beer from a Dollar General in Central El Paso on Monday, Sept. 9, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO).
Nick Anthony Carrasco, 47, was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility for felony theft of property with previous convictions.
According to EPSCO, deputies arrived at the store that Monday, located at the 400 block of West Main Street, about a theft that took place.
Deputies found Carrasco in the area matching the description and detained him, according to the EPCSO.
Further investigation revealed that Carrasco had taken a 32 oz. beer can from the store without paying for it, according to EPCSO.
After Carrasco was identified, deputies discovered that he had five other prior convictions for theft, according to EPCSO.
