EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two people were injured and rushed to the hospital following a shooting on Thursday, Sept. 4, near a park in Las Cruces, according to police.
At 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, officers were dispatched to reports of shots fired near Salopek Park. Upon arrival, officers found two victims, according to the Las Cruces Police Department.
One victim was ground taken to a local hospital, while the second victim was airlifted to a hospital in El Paso.
LCPD said they have no information on their conditions.
