El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — The National Weather Service has issued an heat advisory for El Paso as of Friday afternoon. The advisory is expected to expire at midnight on Saturday. Keep in mind hot temperatures will increase the risk of heat related illness. Stay hydrated!
As far as this weekend, I have some good news. There is a 10% chance we may see storms during the early hours of Saturday morning. If you’re an early bird, hopefully you get to see rain clouds and if you do, snap a photo.
Saturday’s high is expected to reach a scorching temperature of 104 degrees with an overnight low sitting at 78 degrees.
During the day after the rain has passed, hot breezes will say hello and are expected to range between 10 to 15 mph. Additionally, chances of the heat advisory extending is likely.
On Sunday, 102 is the forecasted high.
Skies will be mostly clear and our UV index is expected to peak at 1:15 p.m. I encourage you to keep that sunscreen with you if you have any outdoor plans. Sunday night, we cool off to 77 degrees with very light winds.
Monday, we will continue the triple-digit pattern we have been seeing with a predicted high of 101 degrees. It will be a hot day with very minimal winds ranging from 5 to10 mph. No significant weather changes to report at this time.
We can expect clear skies for Tuesday and a forecasted high to warm up to 102 degrees. Stay with me, double digits are in the near future.
Tuesday night makes a perfect opportunity to enjoy those summer night before fall takes over in just 39 days! Our evening temperature will remain fairly warm at 77 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday will pretty much copy and paste weather conditions from Tuesday. There is a chance we will see some winds ranging from 10 to 15 mph. As we head into the night, winds will be calmer at 5 mph. Highs stick around in the lower 100s. Overnight lows expected to linger in the mid 70s.

Friday brings us 10% chance of storms in the morning. The forecasted high is 101 paired with winds ranging from 5-10 mph. Evening temperatures cool off to 76 degrees, nice and warm.

Saturday’s high is a double digit, don’t get too excited yet! The high is 99 degrees, flirting with triple digits. So close yet so far from a nice cool day in the Borderland. Seventy-six degrees is expected to be our temperature at night, making it the coolest night in our Nine Day Forecast.
Luckily, Sunday we are in for another double-digit day. We are forecasting our high to reach 97 degrees, keeping us further away from triple digits. Before we know it, our highs will be in the 80s. Hang tight, El Paso!
