EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Socorro Independent School District (SISD) will be hosting the 2024 College, Career and Job Expo for sophomores, juniors and seniors on Monday, March 18.
The event will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 18 at Montwood High School, 12000 Montwood Dr.
Dozens of employers from across the city will attend along with colleges from across the region, according to SISD.
SISD says students will have the chance to meet with representatives from colleges, technical schools and the military and network with local business and industry partners about future career opportunities.
Additionally, there will be summer jobs and internships opportunities at the event. El Paso Workforce will be accepting applications for summer training and for job placement.
SISD says students should be ready to interview, bring resumes and dress to impress. The expo will also feature a special guest, and raffle prizes will be given out.
