EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A member of the Socoro Independent School District Board of Trustees was arrested Thursday, May 9 for official oppression and other related charges, according to court records.
Pablo Barrera was charged with two counts of official oppression, four counts of obstruction of retaliation, improper influence and coercion of public servant.
Barrera was released the same day with his bond totaling to $6,000, according to court records.
