EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A special Star on the Mountain lighting will be taking place on the Fourth of July to celebrate the holiday, the El Paso Chamber announced Thursday morning, July 4.
The El Paso Chamber says the special lighting will start at 7:30 p.m. and run until 11 p.m. The Star will “illuminate the Franklin Mountains with vibrant, patriotic colors, honoring our nation’s birthday,” the Chamber said.
“We’re excited to light the Star on the Mountain in celebration of Independence Day,” said Claudia Rosales, the El Paso Chamber’s Director of Programs and Community Outreach, and the Manager for the Star on the Mountain. “This lighting represents our community’s spirit and unity, making it a perfect tribute to our nation.”
Those interested in dedicating the Star on the Mountain for another occasion can visit elpaso.org/star-on-the-mountain or call the Chamber at 915-534-0500 for more details.
