EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Sunland Park Fire Department (SPFD) assisted Border Patrol, Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and New Mexico Office of the Medical Investigator in recovering a body Sunday evening, Aug. 4 in the desert, SPFD announced via its X account.
The body was found by Border Patrol near Mile Marker 144 off New Mexico Highway 9 at 5:50 p.m., according to SPFD.
