EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A structure fire damaged a home on Wednesday, Aug. 13, in Las Cruces, the Las Cruces Fire Department said.
The Fire Department says firefighters were called to the blaze just before 2 p.m.
Upon arrival, crews found an exterior fire and deployed a hose for attack. Further inspection of the property led to the discovery of fire in an interior wall and attic space above the exterior fire, and a second alarm was declared, the Fire Department said.
Additional firefighters responded, and an interior attack was initiated. The fire was brought under control, and the spread of the fire was limited, the Fire Department said.
No injuries were reported, and damage estimates are under review and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
