EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Law enforcement is investigating an incident after an IDEA Rio Vista student was struck by a vehicle earlier this week.
The incident happened at the drop-off line before school hours, according to IDEA Public Schools.
It is unknown if the student suffered any injuries.
The charter school issued the following statement:
IDEA Rio Vista is aware of an auto pedestrian incident involving a student who was struck by a vehicle at the drop-off line before school hours. Emergency personnel responded to the incident, and the student was evaluated. Law enforcement is investigating the incident. As this is an ongoing investigation, all other questions should be directed to the El Paso Sheriff’s Office.
