EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sun City Musical Arts is inviting the community to take part in their Fundraiser Bowling Tournament this weekend.
The event is set to take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 at Oasis Lanes, located at 1660 N. Zaragoza Rd. The tournament will also include lunch, drinks and prizes for top teams, according to the Sun City Musical Arts in a news release.
The fundraiser is aimed to raise money to support the Sun City Musical Arts’ students to cover costs of instruments, travel, housing and more, according to the Sun City Musical Arts.
“We are thrilled to host this bowling tournament to support Sun City Musical Arts,” said Hector Aguirre Jr., chairman of the Board of Directors for Sun City Musical Arts. “This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together, have fun and make a positive impact for some of El Paso’s youth. Every strike and spare will help us get closer to our fundraising goal and support the important work of Sun City Musical Arts which strives to be of service to the El Paso community through the universal language of music.
