EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park Fire Department assisted in recovering a body in the desert on Thursday morning, June 20.
According to SPFD’s X account, the body was found by Border Patrol and was located near the 1000 block on Camino Real Ave.

According to SPFD, the fire department, Sunland Park Police Department and the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI) all assisted in recovering the body.
Sunland Park Police and the OMI are currently investigating the incident.
