EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 20-year-old man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after he sustained lower extremity injuries on Mount Cristo Rey on Wednesday, Dec. 18, according to the Sunland Park Fire Department.
According to the department, the call came in at 7:19 p.m. and Border Patrol was on the scene.
SPFD said the man sustained “traumatic injuries,” however, the department later sent an update that the injuries were non-life threatening.
It is unknown how the man got injured.
