EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park Fire Department (SPFD) responded to a report of an unconscious male on Tuesday afternoon, July 2, according to the department through their X account.
First responders said the male was unconscious due to heat exposure and SPFD used active cooling at the scene.
The call came at 4:42 p.m. at Mount Christo Blvd. and Gila Dr. in Sunland Park, according to SPFD.
SPFD said the male was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
