EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An 18-year-old believed to be involved in a shooting at a Las Cruces park that resulted in the death of a woman and serious injury to a man has been arrested.
Apolinar Rosales, 18, was arrested on Saturday evening, Aug. 6, and is charged with felony counts of voluntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence, and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing, according to the Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD).
He is currently booked at the Doña Ana County Detention Center without a bond, according to jail records.

The shooting took place shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, near Salopek Park on the 400 block of Salopek Boulevard.
Julia Clark, 19, was shot at least once and was airlifted to University Medical Center of El Paso. She then died from her injuries sustained on Saturday, according to LCPD.
A 19-year-old man was also shot during the incident. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that LCPD said are not believed to be life-threatening.
LCPD continues to investigate the shooting and believes at least one other individual is still outstanding.
