EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The therapeutic pool at the Michelle T. Adjemian Recreation Center, 9031 Viscount Blvd., will be temporarily closed beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3 to enhance the overall customer experience, the City of El Paso announced in a news release.
The City said the closure will allow for the installation of a new humidifier unit designed to control moisture levels at the indoor pool, ensuring a more comfortable and safer environment for all users.
These upgrades are expected to be completed by early winter, barring any unforeseen delays, according to the City.
During the pool closure, the recreation center will remain open, and all other services and programming will continue as scheduled, according to the City.
Residents are also encouraged to visit other City-operated aquatic centers during this time.
A comprehensive list of indoor aquatic facilities is available on the Parks and Recreation Department website at www.ElPasoTexas.gov/parks.
“These improvements are part of the Parks and Recreation Department’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality facilities for our community, enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors alike,” read the news release.
