KTSM News – Thursday 9-hour forecast: Chances of isolated storms expected through El Paso

Posted on August 1, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Happy Friday Eve! We are forecasting a very hot Thursday in the Sun City as triple digits linger into tonight.

Starting the morning fairly warm, clear skies are expected with variable winds of 5 to 15 mph. However, we’re forecasting isolated thunderstorms in the evening, following a chance of showers and thunderstorms by 7 p.m.

With scorching temperatures soaring across El Paso, make sure to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade if you need to be outdoors throughout the day. Most likely scattered storms are initiated in the mountains, then making their way into the lowlands midafternoon.
