EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — There’s a weather alert across the Borderland today as chilly temperatures surface across the Sun City and snow accumulation continues in the higher mountains.
Across El Paso, expect southwest winds to pick up from 10 to 25 mph with a high of 61-degrees by 1 p.m. Partly cloudy skies will linger all day into tonight as a 20 percent slight chance of showers is predicted.
While snow may remain mostly in the mountains, rain showers are expected throughout the day in the lowlands.
The storm system will bring active weather conditions such as breezy conditions with mostly cloudy skies by noon and high temperatures 5 to 25 degrees below normal.
