EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – For everyone that has a skin care routine, this National Day is for you.
On July 8, we celebrate National Love Your Skin Day.
National Love Your Skin Day is observed annually and encourages people to adopt a good skincare routine to enhance their natural beauty.
This is a day dedicated to embracing and celebrating your skin and to reminds us to prioritize skincare.
I need to adapt a much better skin care routine, as it consists of makeup wipes and moisturizer.
I admire all the people who implement a 30-minute to hour makeup routine, as my schedule doesn’t really allow for it at night.
But skincare goes above, a face wash, moisturizer, etc. It can be as simple as using sunscreen, to keep your skin healthy and glowing.
In fact, the first consumer friendly sunscreen was used for soldiers in 1944 to help them in World War II, marking the beginning of sun protection skincare.

Whatever your skin care routine, remember: It’s not always about buying the most expensive skin care products available.
It starts with taking care of what you consume and staying hydrated.
Remember: Drinking plenty of water is crucial for achieving radiant skin.
