KTSM News – Traffic impacted near UTEP as El Paso Police investigates ‘suspicious item’

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Traffic is being impacted near the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) on Monday, July 14, as the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) is investigating a “suspicious item.”

EPPD said the department’s Bomb Squad responded to the 600 block of Schuster Avenue in West-Central El Paso about a suspicious item.

The surrounding area is currently blocked of for further investigation, EPPD added.
