KTSM News – Tree knocks down power lines, causes fire in East El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A tree fell, knocked down some electrical wires and set the roof of a home on fire on Monday afternoon, March 3, near Album Park in East El Paso, the El Paso Fire Department said.

Fire officials said the fire, at a home along the 3000 block of Brandwood Court, was quickly knocked down.

The call came in a little after 3 p.m. about a Condition 2 fire (visible smoke and flames).

No injuries are being reported at this time. Fire investigators have been requested and are on the scene.

El Paso Fire called the fire “weather-related.”

El Paso Electric is on the scene too.
