EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – In a post made Monday, President Donald Trump announced that beginning November 1, all medium and heavy duty trucks imported into the U.S. will be subject to a 25% tariff.
“Beginning November 1st, 2025, all Medium and Heavy Duty Trucks coming into the United States from other Countries will be Tariffed at the Rate of 25%. Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, TruthSocial.
Trump did not provide further details on how tariffs would be implemented, whether parts are included, or how exemptions would be handled.
