EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Tuesday! Get your sunscreen out because we’re expecting another very hot day across the Borderland. Although a few clouds will be on our radar at noon, we are forecasting triple digits.
Expect to reach a high of 102 degrees with temperatures slightly dropping to 95 degrees by 7 p.m. Winds will stay low at 5 to 15 mph northwest and diminish to 5 mph east after midnight.
With the day heating up by noon, make sure to stay hydrated when outdoors and make sure to stay in air-conditioning rooms. An excessive heat watch will be in effect from Wednesday through late Friday.
