EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — With triple digits soaring across the Borderland, a weather alert for a heat advisory has been extended today.
If you’re planning to go outdoors, stay in shaded areas and drink lots of water. We’re expecting a high of 102-degrees with clear skies and southwest winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph by noon.
Although hot temperatures are expected to drop after 7 p.m., temperatures will be above normal and not as gusty throughout the day.
