KTSM News – Tuesday 9-hour forecast: Stronger winds bring colder temperatures

Posted on December 10, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Colder temperatures call for a weather alert as high winds begin by noon. Although we are forecasting a high of 52-degrees, we may just feel 48-degrees by 1 p.m.

With a cold front underway, the Sun City will feel cold and brisk in the morning as northerly winds linger. Making it feel like 20-degrees for the lowlands and 0-degree Fahrenheit across the mountains.

North winds are expected to range up to 20 mph and could diminish 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Don’t expect temperatures to warm up as winter season is right around the corner.
