CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (ValleyCentral) — TV host and musician Johnny Canales has died at 77. Canales’ wife, Nora Canales, posted on Facebook Thursday of his passing just before 8 a.m.
American Norteno/Tejano Band “Siggno” (Lead Singer Jesse Turner & Professional Drummer Cesar “Chato” Sanchez), Tejano Singer Lucky Joe, with Nora Canales and La Machy from La Conquista and TV Host Johnny Canales.
Canales was a household name for over 40 years after his show debuted in 1983. The show later became El Show de Johnny y Nora Canales.
