EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two people have been seriously injured following a shooting involving an officer Monday night, June 23 in the Lower Valley.
According to El Paso Police, at around 11:30 p.m., officers from the Mission Valley Regional Command were dispatched to the 7300 block of Stiles Dr.
When officers arrived on the scene, they say they found a 46-year-old man who was shot. He is being described as the manager of the facility. Police say there was also an armed suspect inside the building. Officers say they fired at the suspect.
El Paso Police say both the 46-year-old man and the suspect were transported to a local hospital with critical injuries but are said to be in stable condition.
Stiles Dr. is expected to be closed off for most of the day as the incident remains under investigation.
