EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Four people are in custody following a shooting that left one male victim dead, and two other male victims injured on Wednesday evening, June 25, in El Paso’s Lower Valley, El Paso Police Sergeant Robert Gomez said.
Gomez said the initial call came in just before 9 p.m. on June 25 at the 7800 block of Lilac Way about a shooting, but no victims were found.
While officers were at the scene at Lilac Way, another call came in at Gallagher Street, which is nearby to where officers were initially responding, Gomez said.
Gomez said officers responded to Gallagher Street and found one victim with a gunshot wound. While at that scene, officers received a call that two other victims with gunshot wounds had self-transported to a local hospital.
As we previously reported, police said three male victims were injured. One was taken to a local hospital by fire medical services, and the two other victims self-transported to the hospital.
However, it is unknown if the victim who died was the one who was taken to the hospital by FMS or one of those who self-transported.
Gomez said four people are in custody — two adults and two juveniles, three males and one female — and the incident is being investigated as a murder.
This is a developing story, and we will update once we learn more.
