EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The University of Texas at El Paso’s (UTEP) Information Security Office (ISO) is warning the university community of scam calls that are claiming to be UTEP.
UTEP says the scam calls are claiming to be the university, but are from non-UTEP numbers.
UTEP says there has been a report of a caller stating to be from the student business services trying to get personal information.
