EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A vehicle exploded at the Sun Metro Transit Operations Center on Tuesday, Feb. 11 in Central El Paso, according to a spokesperson with the El Paso Fire Department.
The spokesperson says the explosion happened just after 1 p.m. at the Sun Metro Operations Center at 10151 Montana Ave.
The spokesperson says a vehicle exploded possibly inside the operations center and people are currently evacuating.
El Paso Police are also responding to assist with the fire.
Police say Montana Avenue is closed between Wedgewood and Yarbrough in both directions.
