EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Traffic is being impacted in East El Paso after at least three vehicles were involved in a crash that resulted in one of the vehicles veering off Interstate 10 East and onto Gateway East near Zaragoza on Monday, Jan. 6, fire dispatch said.
Fire dispatch said the call came in at 12:15 p.m. at I-10 right before the Zaragoza exit ramp.
Two people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries, fire dispatch said. Other people were checked on the scene but only two people were transported.
In addition, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) said the crash closed all lanes at Gateway East at Lee Trevino.
There is no backup, and the clearing time is until further notice, TxDOT said.
