EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — More than 30 El Paso and Southern New Mexico veterans will be returning home after a visit to Washington D.C.
The Honor Flight of Southern New Mexico and El Paso transported these veterans for a trip to see memorials that were built to honor and recognize those who served.
About 30 veterans will be returning home at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at the El Paso International Airport.
The public is invited to bring signs, flags and greet them upon their arrival in the main lobby of the airport.
“This trip provides closure, healing and the welcome home these heroes deserve,” the City said in a news release.
