KTSM News – Village of Vinton seeks help choosing name of newest park

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The opening of Vinton, Texas’ newest park is just around the corner, and the Village is seeking your help choosing the name.

The Village of Vinton made the announcement on Monday, July 21, via its Facebook page.

The Village said that after reviewing community suggestions, the City Council has selected two finalists, both honoring individuals from Vinton who’ve made a lasting impact:

  • Coach Jose Medel Park
  • Sgt. Alfredo Martinez Park

Now it’s time for the community to decide which name will represent this special space by voting here.

Voting closes at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
