EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Two ballot initiatives will be decided during the election Saturday, May 3.
Voters in the Haciendas Del Norte Water Improvement District are being asked to approve a $5 million bond for a “waterworks system.”
The water improvement district is located north of Montana Avenue adjacent to Fort Bliss in far East El Paso. It provides public water service to the subdivided properties in the Haciendas Del Norte Subdivision Units One, Two and Three.
In the Village of Vinton, voters are being asked to approve a reduction in the tax rate from the current rate of $0.801437 per $100 valuation to $0.688226 per $100 valuation.
