EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 42-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday, June 3, on revocation warrants for intoxicated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 3 said.
The Constable’s Office says they arrested Andres Menchaca on active personal recognizance bond warrants for intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Menchaca was taken into custody at the 5600 block of Van Horn and was booked into the El Paso County Jail under a $50,000 bond.
The Constable’s Office says Menchaca was initially arrested in December 2020 by El Paso Police for the intoxicated assault charge. The case has yet to be adjudicated.
The Constable’s Office is also reminding the community that they can report fugitives by calling Crime Stoppers of El Paso at (915) 566-TIPS (8477).
