EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was arrested after officers discovered he had an outstanding warrant for assault on a family member last Friday, June 20, in Horizon, according to the Horizon City Police Department.
Police say at around 2:30 p.m. that Friday, they responded to the 1000 block of Paraiso in reference to an assault.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victims who reported that Cesar Lara Jr. had physically assaulted them during an argument, police said.
Officers then conducted a routine warrants check for Lara and discovered he had an outstanding warrant for assault causing bodily injury to a family member, police said.
Lara was arrested and booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $3,000 bond.
