EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 59-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday, July 8, for having an active warrant for contempt of court, the El Paso County Constable’s Office for Precinct 3 said in a news release.
The Constable’s Office said deputies received information about an active warrant on Maria Elena Ventura, 59, for contempt of court with a $69,532.97 bond.
Ventura was seen leaving her residence on the 7500 block of Hermosillo Drive, and she was pulled over for a traffic stop at the 800 block of Tampico Drive, the Constable’s Office said.
The Constable’s Office said she was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Jail without further incident.
